why indigo?

It's not in homage to the Indigo Girls, a perfectly fine duo with killer harmonies,

it's not even so that I can have the nifty diminutive Indy, (what a nice side effect!)

rather it's due to an old obsession with a particular series of books by Louise Cooper, about a young, headstrong, powerful heroine, who in one monumental display of poor judgment changes her life forever. Although I wasn't done with my monumental display when I selected the moniker, I think I knew what was going on.

So, meet indigo. It's a fine colour, anyway.
